My usual charge for labor is from $40.00 to $60.00
If I don’t achieve the desired results, then there is no charge.
A recent example:
A laptop running slow on windows 10 with data to save.
I backup the data to another disk drive, I then wipe the disk drive and then upgrade the system to Windows 11,
I then discover that the laptop only has 4gb of ram memory, I install 16gb of memory.
The labor charge is $60.00, the parts came to $52.00
